Enamoured by the ridiculous beauty of the land, we pulled over on our way up to Thredbo in the Snowy Mountains, Australia.

Long road trips can be quite un-grounding and usually leave me 'dropping out and cruising along' rather than facing what's 'up' for me to deal with. We women do tend to do that sometimes...to suppress shit down instead of feeling it.

When I got onto the land, all of the emotions  I had been suppressing throughout the day came out in their entirety.

I like that this series of photos is a depiction of my process in releasing stuck energy. It came through first as intensity, transformed into fierce anger and then broke into deep sadness.
